DAY-1: MOMBASA-TSAVO EAST


You will be collected from your hotel at 07.00 and drive to Tsavo East National Park.  Entry into the park is through Bachuma gate, where the game drive will begin, and the excitement begins when you start looking for the many animals within the park, like Zebra’s, Elephants, Antelopes, Lions, Buffalo’s, Leopard, Giraffe and also a variety of bird species.  Lunch will be taken at Voi Wildlife Lodge, afterwards you can relax and watch the many animals arriving at the waterhole.  Game drive will continue at around 4pm through the safari park in search of the Big 5. The game drive will end at dusk, you then will return to your choice of lodge either VOI WILDLIFE LODGE or ASHNIL ARUBA LODGE in time for dinner.


DAY -2: TSAVO EAST-MOMBASA

Early morning call at 06.00 hours. After tea/coffee an early morning game drive in time to hopefully see the lions eating their breakfast.  Returning back at the lodge for breakfast at around 08.30 hours.  Check out of your room, and continue on the final game drive. You will then take lunch before returning to the coast arriving at your hotel in the early evening.

Ellie says: this safari is a good choice for travellers not wishing to travel too far and the lodges on offer are excellent Ashnil Aruba is close to the Aruba Dam while sitting at the swimming pool you may even see a variety of animals making their way to the waterhole.
