Day 1: MOMBASA- SALTLICK TAITA HILLS

Early morning pick up from your hotel, drive to Taita Hills Game Reserve near to Tsavo National Park, the journey from Mombasa takes around 2 hours. Enter the park enroute game drives to Saltlick Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch relax in the lodge until 4 o’clock, before the evening game drive until dusk, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: TAITA HILLS SALTLICK-AMBOSELI

Early breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park through the Shetani Lava and the Mzima springs, game drive en route to either Oltukai Lodge/Serena lodge/Sentrim Camp for lunch. Evening game viewing with opportunities of viewing Mt Kilimanjaro especially on a clear sky day. Visit MASAI village (optional) before returning to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: AMBOSELI-MOMBASA

Early breakfast before game drive enroute out of the park. Lunch will be taken on the way as you drive back to your coastal hotel arriving late in the evening.

Ellie says: A visit to the Masai Village is exciting, the price for admission however is determined by the Masai Chief.  You will be shown around their village and the houses they live in, together with the Masai ladies dancing and offering for sale jewellery and wood carvings.
